Thanks for leaving a question on the http://disneysummercamp.wordpress.com/ blog. I apologize that it took me a while to get back to you. I am one of the parents of campers that run websites promoting Giant Campus Summer Camps, and this blog you posted a comment pertains only to the Livewire (Giant Campus Experience) Summer Camp at Disney World. I’ve been waiting to hear about the Disney camp details myself, and I just found out the status of the camp. I’m sorry to say that I just got word that the camp at Disney World will not be scheduled this year. I’m sorry that this is not what you wanted to hear, and I’m sure it’s a disappointment to your child. My son will be 13 this summer, not quite old enough for the Disney Summer Camp, but he’s looking forward to it for 2010, and hopefully the camp will be back then. (He’s already attended 4 weeks of Giant Campus residential camps at UC Berkeley and UCLA.) I’m sorry I don’t know. Giant Campus did have a teen camp last summer, but it isn’t scheduled this year. I hope you find a wonderful experience for your daughter! Giant Campus has summer tech camp for young children at Pump It Up locations. This is perfect for your daughter’s age group, I’m not sure if the location is convenient… Here’s a link –
